[Fredslist] Ansche Chesed Men's Shelter desperately needs volunteers

Hi,


The Ansche Chesed Men's Shelter provides housing to 10 men who are finding
their way out of homelessness.  The shelter needs  volunteers for the
upcoming month. Please consider signing up for a shift and passing this
email along to others as well. We really need your help!


We need extra help with the shifts bolded in red (coming up THIS WEEK) and
the shifts bolded in black (Thanksgiving weekend - very difficult weekend
for finding volunteers).


Opening shifts (7-9pm):

Sun 11/7, Thurs 11/11, Fri 11/12, Sun 11/14, Fri 11/19, Sat 11/20, Sun
11/21, *Thurs 11/25, Fri 11/26, Sat 11/27, Sun 11/28*, Thurs 12/2


Overnight (9pm-6am):

Fri 10/29, Sat 10/30, Sun 10/31, Weds 11/3, Sat 11/6, Sun 11/7, Weds 11/10,
Fri 11/12, Sat 11/13, Weds 11/17, Fri 11/19, Sat 11/20, Sun 11/21, Weds
11/24, *Thurs 11/25, Fri 11/26, Sat 11/27, Sun 11/28, *Weds 12/1


The men stay at this shelter regularly, so they know what to do.  The
opening shift volunteers set up two cots for the overnight volunteers.  the
overnight volunteers wake up the men in the morning, make sure everything
has been put away and lock up.  The men take care of putting away their cots
and linens.  There is a microwave and television that need to be put back
