Gotham Family,

I've been remiss...had a crazy week last week.  But never, fear!  Our very talented Gotham Green member, Josh Zinder, is saving the day with his wonderful sailing song...

In case you aren't sure, it's about the WONDERFUL Clearwater sail some Gotham members attended last on Fri., 10/8.

EMF Cruise (to Gilligan’s Island tune)

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, 
A tale of a Gotham trip 
That started from a west side port 
Aboard this environmental ship. 

The mate was a slight teenage girl, 
The skipper an audiophile. 
Thirty passengers and some Gotham members set sail that night 
For a three hour tour, a three hour tour. 

The weather was crisp and clear, 
The tiny ship sailed smooth, 
If not for the strength of the passengers (yes we had to raise the 3 ton sail) 
The Clearwater would not sail, the Clearwater would not sail. 

The ship sailed circles around the Hudson some of them silent. 
With the Grantwriter
The Skipper too, 
The Retailer and his wife, 
The  Green Advocate
The Contractor and Architects, 
Here on the EMF cruise . 

So this is the tale of the networkers, 
They're sailed for a long, long time, 
They had some great wine and food, 
It was for a good cause. 

The first mate and the Skipper too, 
Did their very best, 
To get the boat back to port, 
they could use a rest. 

No phone, no lights no motor cars, 
all were turned off.
To sail the Hudson silently, 
As primitive as can be.
