I heard it this morning, "Drill Baby Drill, let's see what we can kill, if it don't make us money, then it don't fit in the bill." Ah yes, country music at its best. I listened while enjoying the smell of burning diesel at the beach. Don't you just love that? Now you too can enjoy a spectacular view of the largest beach bonfire fish-cookout right from the comfort of your very own oil-slicked beach chair. 

But perhaps there is hope. Last week, John Kerry and Joe Lieberman (of all people) introduced the American Power Act in the senate. It does still call for more offshore drilling (huh?), but at least it puts the decision to do so in the hands of the states. And it truly makes the green economy a real focus. Heck, even Fred Krupp, E.D. of EDF says it's cool and was one of the key creators. This week's guests, Dena Mottola Jaborska, Doug O'Malley, and Matt Elliott of Environment New Jersey talk about how New Jersey and other coastal states can deal with all this sticky stuff.
