Marketing Assistant/Booking Agent for Kids Production Company

 

HUGE opportunity to throw yourself into the music business and to grow
within this organization!!


Looking for assistant for kids music production company - the music is
fun quirky and with a cultural Jewish twist. Looking for someone to help
with everything from marketing, social networking, mailers, research, CD
distribution, booking. Everything from running to the post office to
meetings with big clients.   Will be making cold calls to venues such as
Jccs, day schools, synagogues, camps & music festivals throughout the
US, and internationally, and handling band schedule and bookings.  Must
have strong phone skills.


Can be a recent graduate interested in the music industry, management &
booking, someone currently booking other music groups, or a quick
learner with saavy sales/marketing skills. We are looking for a
strategic and creative thinker, hard working, very good salesperson,
smart and aggressive and self motivated. Must be efficient in Excel.
 

Will work part time from office in Montclair, NJ. 

 

20-30 hours a week to start and after trial period will grow in possible
full time position.
