Senior Software Engineer

Looking for an experienced C++ software engineer to bolster development
staff.  The ideal candidate will have the following technical
qualifications:

-          A minimum of 7 years of professional software development
experience.

-          Experience in developing in both Windows and Linux (with a
mastery of at least one).

-          Developed software through its entire life cycle - from
conception to production.

-          A mastery of C++ and OOP concepts.

-          Experience with sockets and specifically TCP and UDP (multicast)
communications.

-          Any large-set data analysis/handling (especially real-time)
experience is a plus.

-          Fluent in all modern development tools (Visual Studio 2008,
etc.).

Additionally, the candidate should be self-motivated and comfortable working
in a collaborative, small team environment.

Windows Developer position:

 

Fluent C++ and STL

Demonstrable mastery of the Win32 API for writing UI applications

Knowledge of the various Microsoft frameworks (MFC, etc.)

Experience with MS Visual Studio 2005 and later

Client/Server communications via sockets

Experience with OO Patterns

Evaluating and improving algorithm efficiencies

Experience handling real-time data feeds

Experience with multi-threaded programming

Subversion source control experience is a plus

Equities trading knowledge is a plus
