[Fredslist] Interesting Project - in CT

I have been asked to join a Steering Committee for a Work/Life Balance
project.  

 

The project will engage with businesses in Connecticut to discuss the issues
surrounding "Paid Sick Leave".  It would be grant-funded on the research
side, but also involves Steering Committee members' outreach to other
business owners and managers. Most of the activity begins in the
Fall/Winter.

 

Anyone who is interested can contact me directly for details.

 

(And no, they didn't call me because I am doing a great job balancing my
work and my life.this mostly has to do with how companies can attempt to
foster that balance for employees.)
