To all my Gotham Towers ./ Gotham Queens members and anyone who wants to 
"truly surf the circuit" tomorrow. See update below. The weather looks 
like it will be spectacular:

Hey all you Fire Islanders out there, tomorrow is the day! Good food, good 
time, good weather and great friends are the perfect recipe for a 
memorable day. Just as a reminder, here are a few tips for a great day:
 
1.      The ferry to Kismet Beach leaves from the Maple Ave. dock (last 
parking lot on the left at the end of Maple Ave. Bay shore, NY). There is 
a 9:25am ferry and a 11:15am ferry, both will get you there before lunch 
at noon. The ferry schedule can be found at www.fireislandferries.com, 
Kismet Beach, Mon ? Thursday schedule.
2.      Dress code ? be comfortable, you will be spending most of the day 
on the beach, think bathing suit, towel, sun screen, hat, foot gear etc.
3.      Bring liquid refreshment to the beach and snacks if you want. I 
provide lunch and dinner.
4.      Dinner attire ? casual: shirt, flip flops, sandals, shorts; 
whatever you want (clothing is not optional however except on a certain 
part of the beach).
5.      Cell phones ? please leave them in your locker at the Surf?s Out 
restaurant if possible, and enjoy conversation with everyone on the beach 
(not those wishing they were there).
6.      Laptop computers ? yes, someone brought one once, it disappeared 
into the ocean never to be seen again. Leave them home!
