Please join me in welcoming Gotham Hispanic's newest member, Mayra
Rodriguez Valladares.  

 

Mayra is a financial consultant and trainer in New York. She has
conducted numerous courses on Basel II, credit derivatives, and risk
management both in the US and abroad. She has written business plans and
created financial models for start-up and Internet companies.   Mayra
has been an Adjunct Professor at New York University where she taught
courses on globalization and energy. She was also an Adjunct Professor
at the Fashion Institute of Technology where she taught global
marketing, corporate finance and Latin American Politics.  She holds
undergraduate degrees from Harvard in Russian language and Sovietology,
she has an MBA from The Wharton School of Business, and a Masters in
Finance from the Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania.  

 

She speaks many languages fluently, including Spanish, Russian, German,
Hebrew and French.
