[Fredslist] pain from bone marrow biopsy

Dear All

My sister had a bone marrow biopsy on Wed. They had to go in 3 times to get
a sample, so it was very painful.

She has been in severe pain ever since. She went to the emergency room on
Wed night, they gave her pain meds. The pain meds are the only thing
keeping her out of excruciating pain.

My question: does anyone have any experience with the aftermath of a bone
biopsy? The doctor who did it is not going to admit to any wrongdoing or
send her to anyone who might uncover mal practice.

Any ideas on who my sister should go to in order to determine what is going
on with the pain from the biopsy?

Many thanks as always.

best, gail
