One of our clients has a need for a VP of Treasury.

Introduction
A publicly traded (NASDAQ: TWGP), growing Property & Casualty firm that delivers a broad range of property and casualty insurance products and services through an extensive network of wholesale and retail brokers and agents and is expanding nationwide through targeted acquisitions and organic growth.

Primary Function:
The Vice President and Treasurer is responsible for overseeing all activities regarding the cash management functions of the company, including managing and forecasting cash receipts and disbursements to maximize investment income and for ensuring sufficient liquidity is maintained in order to meet current cash needs. The position currently has five (5) direct reports.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Oversight of daily cash position, borrowing and investment activities, cash reporting process and all Treasury Department activities, including the bank reconciliation and the cash accounting process.
• Projects and mitigates potential risks with respect to the Company's liquidity, financing, and/or hedging programs.
• Project management and implementation of strategic treasury initiatives.
• Set cash flow budget and recommend corrective actions to address potential shortfalls and ensure sufficient liquidity.
• Establishing and enforcing processes to enable accurate, effective cash management.
• Maintains strong relations with custodial banking partners, investment managers and other external providers of financial services to ensure the most cost effective banking services are obtained and maintained.
• Settlement of intercompany balances and quarterly dividend process.
• Implement and maintain a comprehensive set of controls designed to manage cash requirements, loan compliance and banking relationships
• Coordination of Treasury integration processes for newly acquired companies.

Desirable Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must be able to simultaneously manage numerous initiatives and activities, be able to work well both independently and as part of a team, have a solid work ethic, and work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding corporate environment. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Good customer service approach.

Experience requirement: 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally with a Property Casualty Insurance company. Management experience in the areas detailed above required. Professionally experienced in use of computer software, eg: Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint.

Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field of study. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) strongly preferred.
