The Roast of Quentin Tarantino put on by the NY Friars Club yesterday was my
first experience of its kind.

What I didn't realize, was the experience of car travel with some very fun
Gothamites, to and from the roast was the best prelude to the event!

On the way into the city, I learned that Rick Fromewick has more energy than
anyone could imagine, Corey Bearak knows how to maneuver into NYC (weather
permitting) in 2 hours or less and still remains calm and Alan and Riva
Schwartz really do love each other after working together for all of these
years!

Seeing Fred up on the dais made me exceptionally proud to be a member of his
"tribe" and yes, the "famous" people were very funny!

Because of strict confidentiality, I can't share who was leaving us to take
tango lessons, or who parties with playboy bunnies, or anything like that.
But, I can tell you it was a fantastic experience all around!
