Hey Fred!

Thanks so much for reaching out to me, I really appreciate it.  Basically
after being laid off from my last Sales position I decided that it was time
to reorient my priorties somewhat.  My dream is to become a professional
writer someday.  I feel that I lost that trying to make the grade as far as
working in Sales.  When I was laid off recently...I really thought hard
about what I wanted and I decided that I wanted to pursue my dream and also
do something that felt right to me.

So as a result, I took the Exam for Federal Park Police Officer and NYC
Corrections thus far as well as scheduling a U.S. Border Patrol Exam as well
as a few others.  I felt that to serve my country (or city) would be a
worthwhile thing to do rather than working in Sales which I have come to
dislike.  It will be stable and it will give me plenty to write about as I
continue to follow my dream of being a best-selling author.  I haven't
turned my back on Sales per se but I feel like I'm pretty burnt out on it.
Truth be told I'm a bit disillusioned and I'm looking to be inspired.

So in that vein, I thought that maybe there were some folks in gotham or
otherwise who were somewhat patriotic towards their Country (and city) who
might know someone who could use a good, honest, mature fellow (with a
halfway decent sense of humor) to help them with Dogwalking, Table Waiting,
Bartending or whatnot...I could use something of that nature while I'm
waiting for my test results and then to take the Physical Battery Tests... I
have no doubt that I've done very well on the tests and I work out every day
so that I can be well conditioned for the tests and eventually the academy.


So any help in this vein would be beneficial.  Any suggestions are also
welcome as well.
