[Fredslist] Anna Lieber brought the house down

Anna Lieber came into the family business management class I teach at  
Baruch College to talk about her experience as a non-family manager in  
a family business.  Any successful family business will have non- 
family managers but theses individuals often have a difficult role to  
balance - as managers they may be part of the leadership team but they  
are never part of the inner-family circle.  Depending on the quality  
of communication in the family this can be a good or bad experience.

Anna's story and her first-hand experience echoed exactly what the  
class had been reading about, and provided the students with the real  
life experience.  Reading about it and talking with someone who lived  
it are 2 different things.  Thank you, Anna.
