[Fredslist] 1 office's furniture moved from CT to NYC and 3 day's storage

Fellow Gothamites-

 

I have a large 3' x 6' office desk, credenza with hutch, and a reception
desk in New Canaan CT that needs to be picked up by no later than end of
the day Monday (yes that's in 3 days), stored for a few days and then
delivered to our new offices in mid-town on Thursday or Friday(building
is not union and daytime deliveries are OK). Would I use a moving
company to do this (small a job?  Recommendations/referrals?  Any idea
of cost?

 

Maybe I am better off renting a U-haul and buying beers for a few
friends (one of which should probably be a chiropractor)?
