Dear Gotham Members, Friends and Colleagues:

Please find attached a very important letter describing the new services of
Mt. Sinai's Seaver Autism Center for Research & Treatment. I told my
colleague that the Gotham Networking Group can do "miracles" (for me, at
least). She asked if I could ask our Group to consider this letter, ("CARLA
Aut LTR 1009").

WIth research now showing that ONE child in 91 is diagnosed with this
mysterious and often socially, emotionally and physically debilitating
disorder, I am hoping we each will reach out to the Seaver Autism Center and
do whatever we can to assist them in their noble mission of treating,
studying, educating communities and individuals, and, discovering a cure for
autism spectrum disorders.

For example: This letter can be edited slightly and simply sent to your
friends and colleagues. Or, you can respond to it yourself--volunteering
and/or providing leads, suggestions, mailing lists etc.. for organizations
or individuals who would like to receive these no-cost services or who would
like to donate time or funding.

The Seaver Autism Center is comprised of the world's outstanding autism
researchers and clinicians--not businesspeople. They are looking for a
Board of Advisors (would you or someone you know like to volunteer for
that?).

In the end, what the Center needs most is the assistance of businesspeople
like us who can creatively help them in their challenging and relentless
work.

Thank you very much for your time and interest, I have also attached
additional information about some of their services.

Allen E. Kaye
