 Join in the International Day of Climate Action, and make a difference

24th at 4pm (doors open at 3:30pm) in Garden City, Long Island; our event is
free of charge.  This day of world-wide actions is designed to move
environmental understanding globally into a higher level of commitment and
into greater support of the scientific consensus.  All of this is in
preparation for the major December UN conference that will re-visit the
Kyoto goals and set new goals for the world.
 
At our Garden City, Nassau County (Long Island) observance of this event, we
will have two experts -- a climate scientist and a policy and green
economics expert -- speaking, with ample time for discussion as well.  And,
strangely enough, it will be fun as well.  Admission is free, and there will
be give-aways for several people.
