a local observance as part of International Day of Climate

350.org.  The free event is October 24th from 3:30pm to 6:00pm in Garden
City, Long Island, and its purpose is to promote the science and the urgent
action needed as described by NASA lead climate scientist Dr. James Hansen.
This international event is timed to influence the important December UN
climate conference in Copenhagen, Denmark.  You can reach it by car or by
Long Island Railroad (Mineola station).
 
Two expert speakers (one on the science, the other on policy and on green
economy) will present and will discuss with the audience.  There will be
some giveaways too.  Join this rare chance to hear and discuss the facts in
