Dear Fellow Gothamites:

Have you ever been uncertain about what to do when you were hit with  
what appeared to be a devastating situation?

Jennifer S. Wilkov faced that exact situation just a year ago.  
Jennifer didn’t just survive being incarcerated in one of New York’s  
most violent prisons for a crime she didn’t commit, but she walked  
away totally renewed, having transformed not only herself during her 4- 
month stint but lifting and transforming the lives of every person she  
touched.

I'm proud to announce that Jennifer S. Wilkov has agreed to tell her  
extraordinary and moving story at our next Diversity Group Lunch. I  
first heard her speak at the Gotham Women's Group. As anyone in that  
group will attest, Jennifer's triumphant tale of hope and courage in  
the face of enormous adversity, was a lesson in life that no one in  
that group will ever forget.

Gotham Diversity Group’s next luncheon will take place at the Friars  
Club on Tuesday, October 6th, 2009 from 12:15 – 2 pm.

We would love to get as many guests as we can to take part in our  
exciting group. When inviting guests please keep the following in mind:

We are a non-compete group. In order to save embarrassment to a member  
or guest, please provide the guest’s name, occupation, company name,

(without a conflict), please let me know and I will make arrangements.

Our fee is $45 for lunch, and all non-member attendees must pre- 
register (no walk-ins, no cancellations, and no refunds).  We’ve made
