Thanks to Nancy and Linda!

Last week's Open House was a huge success (as always!).

I like to say that going to an Open House meeting is an opportunity to
meet new Gotham Members on their way into the tribe. If you haven't
ridden the circuit yet, you're really missing out....we'd love to see
you there!

Best Regards,

Rich Klein

Good Afternoon Along the Network,

Sometimes, you just HAVE to have a shout out!

Yesterday, Gotham Open House had their last meeting for the year. We
had
at least a half a dozen first timers, in addition to Nancy Schess and
Debbie Lindner.

The Friars Club table was full, members and guests alike. We are a
non-compete group and Nancy pointed out that it never ceases to amaze
her
that people sit next to others that they have synergy with just by
coincidence. It was a congenial meeting in the true spirit of Gotham
and
if you haven't visited Gotham Open House, put it on your "to do" list
for
next year. Ride the circuit and see what a true non-compete group looks
like.

I think Open House must be at least four years old, I will have to check
my
facts with the "Powers that Be". Fred was on vacation, so Nancy
graciously
took Fred's seat, not a small feat. Debbie has been promising me she
would
get to one of the Open House meetings, and she is a woman of her word.
If
you don't believe me about the value of the group and the spirit of
co-opetion (is that a new Gotham word?), ask Nancy and Debbie. We only
had
the chance to go around the table once, so that gives you an idea of
what
the meeting was like. Rich Klein, our friendly Group Coordinator, for
those of you who might not know, is the reason Open House was born.
Rich
joined the young Professionals group, it disbanded (it is now being
revived) and Rich had paid dues and was conflicted out of every group.
Open House was born and the rest is history. Take a moment to go to the
database and look through our eclectic members.

For the members, it is old home week and for the "fresh fish" (a prison
term, Tony Celano has let us borrow), it is an opportunity to see Gotham
at
work.

Thank you Open House members, for a meeting well done. Happy holidays
to
all and remember, everything you do is a networking opportunity!

Best,

Linda
