Mr. Klein,

The Catholic Youth Organization, a division of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York, is honoring Louis J. Cappelli, Chairman of Sterling National Bank with their  highest honor, the Gold Medal Award, at a dinner to be held June 17th on board the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. Also being honored are Rex Ryan, head coach for the New York Jets and other sports individuals. 

The CYO is putting together gift bags for approximately 400 attendees. On Sterling’s behalf, it would be greatly appreciated if we could donate items for these gift bags. 

I am requesting you and your members to see if you have a contact or client that would be willing to contribute gift items for this worthy cause. I urge you to reach out to these contacts and ask for their support. (i.e. fragrances, promotional items, t-shirts, tickets, etc-) 

Please be sure that all items selected are appropriate for this type of event. We are not looking to fill up the bags, but rather provide items that are useful and will be well received. Also, before committing to any items, please call me directly to let me know what item you will be donating so I can get the proper approval. 

This is an important event and any gift donations will be highly valued. Please contact me on or before Friday, June 5th. We require time to put the gift bags together prior to the event.
