Dear All:

I am working with a restaurant owner who received nyc dept of health
violations.

I just want to touch base with someone knowledgeable in working with
hearings and adjudications about NYC dept. of health violations.

What can be expected at the hearing by of fine reduction and based on what
facts?

In other words, what governs the amount they assessed in the first place?
And what is the formula or standard for determining what proof qualifies
for what level of fine reduction or elimination?

Separately, there is a default and we would like to reopen the case. What
is the standard for reopening? Of course, I cannot get anyone on the phone
at the NYC Dept of Health.

 Thank you in advance.
