[Fredslist] Best Contact Management Software Needed

Hola Gotham,

 

I'm currently working with an older version of ACT! and need to buy more
copies (hence an upgrade) for other staff and am wondering if there are
better contact management programs out there.  I've worked with the contact
manager in Outlook and don't like it.  I've also worked with Goldmine in the
past.  All seem to have their positives and negatives.  We use the software
for sales, and need to track To Dos, activities, email and also want the
ability for a notes area, for the program to keep a history of all activity
and want a set of user-generated fields to track specific info. for each
contact/client/prospect.  

 

I've found there to be many quirks in ACT!.  So before I upgrade, I'd like
to hear from folks out there and get opinions on the best contact management
software.  I'm happy to send the results out to any and all interested.
