[Fredslist] Ripped off by Air France's fuel surcharges when using frequent flier miles?

Has this happened to anyone?  You use points or miles to buy a ticket on
Air France, but they charge you taxes and fuel surcharges that add up to
about half of what you would have paid for a ticket anyway.  Something
seems wrong here.
