Relocation


RVM Relocates to 80 Pine Street

RVM, Inc. is delighted to announce that its New York headquarters has relocated to 80 Pine Street in the Financial District of Manhattan.  The move will enable RVM's main office to be closer to the firm's clients in the financial services industry.  And, the expanded headquarters provides much-needed space for the company's growing staff.

The move was completed in early February 2009. Phone and fax numbers remain unchanged.

RVM continues to serve its clients in the Midwest from its Chicago and Cleveland offices and recently has opened a DC office.

Acquisition


RVM Acquires G-9 Technologies Forensic Practice


The acquisition of G-9 Technologies forensic practice allows RVM to provide complete, end-to-end discovery services to RVM's clients. Certified computer forensic engineer, Greg Cancilla, leads the RVM forensic team.

Mr. Cancilla, the former president of G-9 Technologies, was frequently retained by Am Law 100 law firms, Fortune 500 companies and entities within the European Union with matters before the Federal Courts, Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission and the Security and Exchange Commission. Mr. Cancilla has forensically collected and analyzed data in the United States, Europe and Asia. Additionally, Mr. Cancilla has collected and analyzed data in accordance with the Federal Corrupt Practices Act ("FCPA") and the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act ("HSR Second Request").


"We are excited about the acquisition of G-9 Technologies," said Vinnie Brunetti, CEO of RVM. RVM will now offer its clients a complete solution from early case assessment through production. G-9's team of highly skilled data professionals, possessing years of experience in data collection and harvesting is a tremendous addition to RVM's already talented team.



The team at G-9 Technologies is experienced in preservation, identification, extraction, documentation and interpretation of computer data using computer forensic tools.  The addition of G-9 Technologies allows RVM to provide full forensic preservation and collection for:

RVM is excited to announce the addition of Katie Court as their Washington D.C. Business Development Manager.

Katie comes to RVM most recently from Fios, Inc., and she will be applying her 18 years of professional experience to lead the RVM team in Washington, D.C.  Katie's has worked with AmLaw 200 clients to reduce discovery expense and risk on ultra-large, high-profile investigations and litigation matters.  Katie's understanding of discovery processes and cost control enable her to providing RVM clients in the Washington, D.C. area with custom designed eDiscovery projects and exceptional customer service.

RVM Announces Partnership with Clearwell

RVM, Inc. has added Clearwell Systems to its list of trusted partners.  Clearwell's software provides pre-processing volume reduction and early case assessment.  RVM has implemented Clearwell into its workflow to save RVM clients thousands of processing dollars.  RVM's hosting solutions accept the reduced data set from Clearwell, providing clients with rapid, error-free loading and hosting onto Relativity or iCONECT.

Clearwell's platform eliminates non-relevant information before it is processed.  This not only reduces processing expenses for RVM clients, but it also provides greater clarity to the litigation team by allowing clients to focus upon the most relevant data as early as possible.  Clearwell is able to eliminate duplicate information, irrelevant information, and even set aside a potentially privileged set of information.  Features such as "search preview" and "search filters" allow legal teams to sample and refine keyword searches.  Using Clearwell, law firms and corporations have significantly reduced both the time to process and the expense of eDiscovery from processing through production.

Lisa Cho,
Hosting Solutions Specialist

RVM welcomes Lisa Cho, an accomplished IT messaging compliance analyst and former Assistant Vice President from Lehman Bros.  Ms. Cho provides a particularly unique skill set working with Lotus Notes and Bloomberg Messaging.  As RVM's hosting solutions specialist, Ms. Cho will be working with clients during initial project design to provide targeted analysis of matter requirements.  Lisa will also be providing daily support to clients of the Relativity hosting platform.

In Lisa's previous role at Lehman Brothers, she was responsible for preservation and collection of the firm's electronic communications for multiple regulatory and legal requirements.
