[Fredslist] Wheelchair ramp for a private house in Queens

   The time has come for us to put in a wheelchair ramp at our home in Richmond Hill, Queens.

   Do we need city permits?  Are there any guidelines we need to follow?

   Any advice and/or lessons learned appreciated.
