[Fredslist] Special Needs Group - in formation - Don't Be Left Out

Greetings

>From my first post for our July 9th meeting - we have two gothamites attending, 3 contacts that I have outside of Gotham - possible new members and 6 inquiries.

Some responses asked for more information - so here it is.


This group will address the provision of information and services to people with special needs and their families.

The group in formation will determine the direction of the group - 

I envision that we will likely deal with planning, resources, housing, programs, medical, legal, financial, etc

There will be an opportunity for the group to assist and support each other from a business standpoint as well as a personal standpoint (if desired).

I am not sure yet how many will be getting involved due to their own personal situation - 
and it may develop that there should be two groups - one for the provider side and one for the personal side

I hope this is helpful.  We welcome you to our first meeting in formation.
