[Fredslist] Environment Now - GOtham Green Presentation on Thursday - Ride the Circuit!

Hi Gotham

 

Have you been to a GOtham Green meeting yet?  If not, consider riding the
circuit to this week's meeting on Thursday, June 4th.  In addition to
meeting the members of GOtham Green and networking with guests and members,
there will also be an up-to-the-moment environment-focused presentation by
member David Alexander.  

 

 

The topic will be the global environment, including energy issues, global
warming and climate change, resource depletion, and species disappearances.
Fortunately there will also be discussion of the societal adaptations that
are gradually occurring in response to the crisis.  Many of these topics are
covered in depth in David's Web site and blog,
http://www.PlanetThoughts.org, built from the ground up by Mr. Alexander
with a variety of writers contributing.  Fellow GOtham Green member Gail
Koelln has started to <http://www.planetthoughts.org/?pg=pt/Whole&qid=2900>
write for the site as well using her science, zoology, and writing
expertise.

 

Find out how David has built community, traffic, and content, and continues
that effort today, for a good cause.

 

Again, the meeting is this Thursday, June 4th at 12:30pm at the Friar's
Club, at 57 East 55th Street.  Cost is $45 to attend for non-members; come
