[Fredslist] A film tribute to John Isaacs

I encourage you all to watch this.  David did a great job in putting this
together and for those of you (like me) that did not know John Isaacs or
about him, this is worth watching.  I'm glad I had an opportunity now to see
what a great man he was.  I can see that he will be greatly missed.  Thanks,

As many of you have read over the past couple of days, John Isaacs--  
The Harlem Renaissance Boy Wonder-- has passed away.

I had the honor and privilege of filming with him a couple of years ago.

Fred called me a couple of years ago and said, "I have a documentary  
for you and give it to you on a silver platter."  He introduced me to  
John and Fred was absolutely right-- what a story!  Fred and I shot a  
sit down interview with John at the Friar's Club, then I followed John  
for 3 days and tried document his life, his legacy.

John was an extraordinary man who lived an extraordinary life.  He  
will be missed.
