Legal Assistant

 

Prestigious Stamford Litigation and Debt Collection attorney seeks experienced legal assistant to join her team. The office fosters an environment of continuous professional growth and improvement. In the current economic environment, it is a high-pressure, fast paced firm where superstars will excel and thrive. 

 

DUTIES:

 

Paying diligent attention to detail, this position is responsible for preparing accurate summons’ and complaints, and interacting with clients in a patient, professional manner. Also responsible for updating client and e-mail databases and managing suppliers and vendors.  Other office administration duties as necessary. 

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

 

➢     3-5 years of law office litigation OR collection agency experience is a MUST. 

➢     Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word

➢     Familiarity with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is a plus. 

 

Demonstrated abilities as a pro-active self-starter who takes the initiative to recognize potential problems and rectify the situation before a larger issue erupts. Possess a strong drive to provide a top quality work product.  Must be highly organized and technologically savvy.  Open to candidates requesting a flexible schedule.
