[Fredslist] Web Site Collaboration

One day, about 8 months ago, at a Gotham Charitable meeting, I made mention of the fact that my charity, The Friends of PS 169, was having a problem.

Fred remembered what I had said and?spoke of it at the next Commerce meeting.? Geraldine Newman of Newthynk immediately suggested that we needed a web site presence.? She volunteered to write the verbiage.? Without missing a beat, Kathy Canfield Shepard of Canfied Design Studios, volunteered to do the design and than Raj Goel of Brainlink said he would host it.

After considering three different companies for electronic donations, the Board decided on Marc Halpert's company, e Giving.? Marc even came to the Board meeting and made a presentation.

Today, because Gotham cares, we went live.? A collaboration of 5 Gotham members and the one person who remembered and cared that a charity was having a problem....Fred!

How about we honor Fred by going to the web site (www.friendsofps169.com) and donating a couple of bucks in his honor........
