Been in business since 1977.  Has two galleries in NYC.  Very tenured
staff-person was in the seat for 12 years.

 

Keys:

Someone who is good with numbers-will handle all basic Bookkeeping
work-use Art Systems, not required

Will work with outside CPA who has worked with the gallery for 20 years

Excellent communication, presentation skills

60% Accounting and 40% admin work-must have small office mentality as
there are only 6 employees in the office

 

Candidates will meet and greet people who come to the gallery, will
participate in gallery openings, etc, so someone who is smart,
ambitious, and maybe even has an interest in a career beyond accounting.
Don't give me straight up Bookkeepers

 

Benefits:  start after 30 days, 100% covered for single. 

 

Hours:  930-600, no OT -Work days are Tuesday-Sat-Off on Sundays and
Mondays
