Hi Gotham,
I have some database questions. Any experts out there.
First, I used Act for years and loved it until they stopped supporting the
Mac. I switched to Now Contact on my tech¹s recommendation and find it
clunky and not very useful. I use Palm for my Treo phone, daily contacts,
calendar, Now Contact for a more extensive dbase of several thousand
contacts (Palm can¹t handle this many) and I use Entourage for email.
None of these programs link so my contacts are not unified and data entry is
cumbersome. I consulted a Productivity Expert and she was only conversant in
Outlook which I had tried once but preferred Entourage. Any suggestions for
a more seamless, more productive solution and/or a better dbase for the Mac?
Also, I also have a client looking for a simple PC database system
(underline simple). She is a nutritionist and wants to store client records,
send emails and be able to sort into groups and search for a keyword. She
will also require an email marketing program but database first. Are there
any you have successfully used aside from Act for the PC?
Any experience with Salesforce.com for a small business?
Thanks,
Anna
