[Fredslist] Calling all Hinterlanders: Gotham in Connecticut

Alyssa Siegel was the Captain of one of my Cross Country teams and my
running partner.  In addition, she is the daughter of Gothamite Marty
Siegel (Israeloff Legal Group) and the sister in law of Gotham Creative
Director Alex Klein.  For all of these reasons and perspectives I vouch for
her and request that you do all you can to make her transition to the wild
and wooly Hinterlands a smooth one.  Please see below.  Thanks.

Hi Fred,

Thanks for your help!

Patrick and I will be moving to Ledyard, Connecticut, in New London County,
in March-April.  We are excited to get to know the area and meet people.  I
am very interested in joining a Gotham group in Connecticut to introduce
myself and connect with others.

I am a horticulturist finishing my graduate degree at the School of
Professional Horticulture at the New York Botanic Garden.  I graduate in
March and am looking for employment at a nursery, public garden, or estate.
I also do private landscape design and installation.  I use my gardening
skills to provide beautiful, peaceful spaces for people to connect with
nature, while helping to improve the environment and maintain habitats for
butterflies, birds, and other wildlife.  I am also an avid photographer.

Patrick is a fine artist, professional woodworker, general contractor, and
expert fisherman.  As a general contractor, he does finish carpentry,
painting (including murals), furniture making, and cabinetry.  He has
worked extensively with all aspects of repair and general construction.
As a fine artist, he is a painter and sculptor, with a blend of
expressionism and realism that is unique and captivating.  He also will be
leading fishing expeditions during the warmer months of the year.

We look forward to meeting Gothamites and participating in the ethos of
altruistic networking!
