  Did you ever do something you are proud of?                                                      
                                                                                                   
  Did you ever create an awards program and no one showed up?                                      
                                                                                                   
  That’s the scenario we’re facing if my fellow Gothamites don’t step up to the plate and send     
  Gail Koelln some nomination forms soon. You remember Gail…Al Gore’s future running mate?         
  Co-Chair of Gotham Green? Yeah, that Gail.                                                       
                                                                                                   
  Anyway, I digress. My favorite “Save the World” group has busted its collective behind to put    
  together this opportunity to celebrate Gotham’s most forward thinking businesses (and nonprofits 
  from the NY metro area) and no one knows ANYONE to nominate?! Come on! We want to provide an     
  opportunity for three organizations to shine and to toot their horn, while adding a Gotham City  
  Networking Green Award (or Seal of Approval, if you will) to its credentials and no one is       
  interested?                                                                                      
                                                                                                   
  Come on, guys…let’s get going. Let’s show the NY business and nonprofit communities that we mean 
  business! The selected honorees will have a luncheon awards ceremony around Earth Day 2009 and   
  we’ll send a press release to New York areas papers. Maybe some of you will get your names in    
  print (or on the web or wherever). OR maybe Al Gore will be our presenter and you’ll wish you    
  applied after all!                                                                               
                                                                                                   
  Seriously folks, take stock of the colleagues you know and send in those nomination forms to     
  Gail (she is also a grant and ghost writer). You can find the link to the application on the     
  home page of our web site where it says “Gotham Gives Back to the Planet.” Her in-box is eagerly
