[FredsList] Victor Urbach's son Jourdan featured on WCBS-TV Sunday Morning program today

Congratulations to Gothamite Victor Urbach, whose multi-talented "child
prodigy" son, Jourdan, an accomplished classical violinist, prolific author
of books, and visionary charitable leader was interviewed by Charles Osgood
and featured this morning on the national WCBS-TV Sunday Morning news
program.  

 

The piece focused primarily on Jourdan's prodigious charitable endeavors
over the past decade, starting at age 7.  Jourdan has raised well over a
million dollars to counteract MS and other neurological diseases, and is
committed to work toward eradicating these disorders through charitable
fundraising supporting research efforts.  

 

It was heartwarming to hear this extremely mature and articulate young
person describe how it is an equal thrill for him to perform on the stage at
Carnegie Hall - a dream of many musicians far older than he is -- and to
perform for a small group of hospitalized children and see the profound
effect that his music has on a sick child or two.  And he speaks from
intimate personal experience, as he's done both, and more than once. 

 

Yet another feather in Jourdan's already crowded hat..
