Despite the fact that many many are suffering from the fall out of our financial melt down (a dear one was recently layed off), I choose to give thanks. Not because things might and probably will get worse, but because I am in a place in my life where I am thankful. My good feelings are rooted in family in all it's supporting and nurturing magical ways. Added to that there is "our thing", our truly amazing, unique Gotham tribe or family. How good I felt seeing this year's Networkers of the Year show genuine heartfelt appreciation upon receivig our "Hall of Fame" awards. And observing Jefferson Crowther's knee weakening thrill opon hearing his Foundation has more money with which to do good and perpetuate the memory of his son's heroic sacrifice. For this words can not adequately describe my kvelling heart. So good, so nice, so real. And then there are the small things like Ben Geizhals set ups of my blog and our clever compliment of commenters. And then there are all the, what Kelly Welles described as, "irrational acts of kindness" by our giving members. There are so many and yet unsung. It is for this and far more which escapes me at this moment for which I give thanks!
