Crohn's is an insidious disease especially when it affects children. Both my nieces and nephew have it and it has affected their growth and resulted in major surgery for my niece. My husband and I will also be at the walk and I urge you to contribute funds for research that is so desperately  needed.

Many of you have heard me speak proudly of my daughter Danielle.  What some of you don’t know is that Danielle has been battling Crohn’s Disease for the last three years.  Crohn’s is a painful, unpredictable disease of the digestive tract and along with ulcerative colitis afflicts more than 1.4 million Americans.

On Saturday June 7, 2008, Danielle and I will be walking in one of the nation’s largest events dedicated to finding cures for Crohn’s and other digestive diseases.
