We are delighted to share with you that Alondra has been invited to the conduct the Russian National Orchestra at the Festival of the Arts Boca, in Boca Raton, FL this coming March 12th and 14th.  She will be sharing the stage with superstars such as Joshua Bell and James Galway. Tell your friends in the area and join us if you can!

POA RECORDS SOUNDTRACK OF MICHEL GONDRY'S NEW MOVIE

This past February 22nd, at Legacy Studios in New York City,  Alondra and members of POA recorded the soundtrack of the new movie by Michel Gondry, acclaimed French director of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.  

Alondra was the music producer.  Both Alondra and Lev "Ljova" Zhurbin made the arrangements of Etienne Charry's score and Alejandro DeIcaza was the sound engineer for the project.

Samba rhythms fuse with Bach-inspired melodies bringing the lush flavors of Brazil to life in the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas' (POA) Brasileiro Concert! Featuring young Venezuelan flutist Maria Castillo in an electrifying program of masterworks including Schiffrin's Caribbean Concerto, Villa-Lobos' timeless Bachianas Brasileiras No. 7 and Clarice Assad's Brazilian Fanfare.  This concert also highlights the world premiere of Paul Brantley's Electric Fan.
