Hello along the network,
   
  It could happen to any of us or those we love or work with: the sudden loss of health and the inability to work for an indefinite period of time. A long time attorney friend had a knee replacement that didnt work out and has been in and out of hospitals and rehab and unable to walk for much of the past year due to a bad infection. 
   
  (This is not about malpractice. As an attorney she checked that out. She is just one of those patients for whom it didn't work out).
   
  She is now home and awaiting a new titanium knee in two to three months
  when the infection (from the original knee replacement) is contained. Because she has exhausted all the services and physical therapy deemed appropriate for her care by her doctor and her carrier, she now needs a home health aid to assist with basic chores involved in house clearning, laundry, bathing and dressing.
   
  Three hours, two times for week for $10 to $12 an hour. I understand that most aids want full time work. This is ideal for anyone with experience seeking part time work who is not certified or does not have professional designations.
