The following is from Bombers Manager Jon Turco.

Due to a gutsy, shorthanded win against the 3rd place team on Monday (we
only had 8 players for the first inning and a half, and were a woman
down
the whole game), the Gotham Bombers have clinched a play-off spot for
the
second consecutive year with a 9-2 record.

This is no small feat: We moved up to Division 2 from Division 3 this
year,
and only 4 teams in our conference make the play-offs.

That's 4 teams out of 15.

Well done!

The play-off schedule largely depends on the seed we end up with, but
most
likely, our first game will be Friday, August 22nd (though there is an
off
chance that our first game will be Monday, August 18th instead).

Either way, if we win, we will play the championship on Monday, August
25th.
