Raj gave Waldy's such a good write-up I thought what better place to have lunch. I called him to see if he was availabe to meet and it just so happened he was free. One simple email promped a great lunch and a chance to catch up with a great friend! 

Waldy's is on 6th b/w 27th and 28th. 
If you like fresh herbs they're there for you to clip right off the plant, next to the olives!

   In a great Pizza town like NY, we get good pizza on every street corner - so it takes something special, something magical to really *STANDOUT*.

   WALDY'S PIZZA on 26th St & 6th ave is such a place.

   The pizza crust is thin, crispy, truly sublime.

   The sauce has the right amount of flavor, without being over powering.

   And the toppings - wow!  Fresh, high quality, tasty.

   The presentation is equally top-notch.  No wax paper, paper plates or foil here.

   Pizzas come out of the wood burning oven, straight onto an individual cutting board.  Which serves as both a slicing platform, and a serving tray for the piping hot pies.

   Feel free to nosh on the kalamata olives, while you wait for your piece of paradise.
