As a non-Klein, I thought I just wanted to give an unbiased opinion on January's Book Club experience. Actually being able to discuss a book with its author was a first-time experience for me and it was incredible. I urge all the readers in Gotham join us on 2/11. Upon the recommendation of Sara Gruen (best-selling author of "Water for Elephants" and participant in our last book blog), we have selected as our next read Karen Abbott's "Sin in the Second City: Madams, Ministers, Playboys and the Battle for America's Soul" a true story about the Everleigh Club, a famous American brothel in Chicago run by two aristocratic sisters named Minna and Ada Everleigh at the turn of the 20th century.
