Greetings to all and further to Thursday's Diversity/Green to-do....

And the band played on...we made merry, we made new friends, we met new
business connections, the place was hopping. One guest even sang about his
Italian villa and olive oil cooperative. The Greensters enthusiam was
contageous. Fred was the venerable Gotham MC, marhsalling the 50 troops and
commercials at lightening speed to the 2 PM finish. Jack Halpern
demonstrated his theatrical flare as resident GC impressario par excellence,
packing the house with Gotham talent and doing tremendous behind-the-scenes
advance work to have everythingl come off without a hitch.

This was Gothaming at its finest. Kudos one and all. You made us proud,
Kelly

P.S.: I second Linda's Lefty motion for the next joint luncheon. (Very lefty
of me).

Hi Along the Network,

I attended and it was indeed an occasion not to be missed! Gotham at its'
best. Maybe a little crowded, but we were among tribe members!

Next joint lunch should have a Lefty table...

Best,

Linda

Thank you for your kind words. Yesterday's Diversity/Gotham Joint Lunch was
a truly great event. We had forty five attendees between members, guests,
and circuit riders. Fred did an amazing job keeping things moving along.
Everyone had a chance to present what they do and we had a five minute
spotlight from Robert Politzer (Gotham Green) and Sheila Hartwell
(Diversity). The atmosphere and camaraderie in the room was amazing. Thanks
to Fred we finished at 1:55 P.M.,but most people stayed till 2:45 PM to
talk, network and to do some business or set up appointments.

Riding the circuit is a great benefit of Gotham Membership. It is very
rewarding socially and is great for your business. Joint meeting are also a
perfect opportunity to network with some great people. I thank Fred Klein,
Isidro Otis, Kelly Welles, Gail Koelin, and Glen Friedman for making this
event great.

Warm wishes,

Jack

Gotham:
Yesterday was the third time I have ridden the circuit since I
joined Gotham and it was a truly a great day. I was a guest at a joint
meeting of the Gotham Green and the Gotham Diversity groups. I asked the GCs
of both groups if I could attend and was enthusiastically encouraged. I took
the opportunity to do some business in the city, meet a fellow Gothamites
for some prospective business, and then had lunch with these two groups
meeting at one time and indeed it was worthwhile.

I reacquainted with those I have come to know over my 2 years as a
Gothamite and thus the relationships keep growing. I introduced myself to
those who have responded to various inquiries I have sent to Fred's List,
placing a face with and name. I personally met as many people face-to-face
as I could before and after the lunch. Eclectic and innovative people
filled the room, each describing in a 1 minute intro what they do. Cards
were passed around the room and I now have 26 people to follow up with. In
separate conversation with some of them, they added 1 or 2 other people they
want me to contact at their referral. I have even received emails from a
few already.

So, why post this to Fred' List? Because riding the circuit is a
privilege available for you to take advantage of and it's easy. You will be
stimulated by meeting Gotham people doing amazing things and it feeds your
network in a very personal way. Tribal networking is what you make. Feeling
the camaraderie of being a welcomed guest at another group is yet one more
way Gotham deepen our business contacts deeper. Just do it!

Thanks and best regards,
