Hello my fellow passengers, this is my story feel free to edit, as I have some good facts that are solid. I have pics too. 

Our expected departure on sat feb 23, 2:40 pm on flight 1764 has had serious extenuating circumstances that we are all forced to report. 267 passengers have been seriously affected including handicapped children, handicapped adults, sick children and adults and infants!!  We have not been heard, it is now 24 hrs later and after being told yesterday after a 6 hour wait we were going to depart, all of a sudden we were told flight is cancelled due to mechanical problems. 267 passengers now had to get vouchers, get their luggage, wait for buses at 8 pm in a dark parking lot hoping we weren't going to get hit by a bus due to the chaotic event. We arrive at some hotel hoping to have more than 4 hrs sleep schelping our families. We are then told the next flight is to leave at 8 am, we need to leave hotel at 6 am. We then are told that is being rescheduled to a 10 am flight to leave hotel at 7:15. We then arrive to the punta cana airport at 8:00 am that we were going to board at 9:20 am.  It is 10 am and we are told yes, all is ok hooray. 75 people get on a bus to be schlepped to the plane to arrive and personally witness leakage on the plane!!  The remaining 192 is now waiting to be bussed to the plane to only see our fellow passengers return to us w thumbs down and many tears, crying children, only to tell us of the leakage they and the pilot and his officials discovered!!  Maintenance crew is saying its ok to fly and the pilot and his officials are saying no! It is now 11:15 am and have been informed by our pilot, Clifford Wilson, the amer air pilot, the issues here are too many, crew legality, safety, snafus along the way that he even cannot believe (in his 21 yrs w amer air), plus a very bad spot for leakage is in exhaust. Fortunately he tells us the person looking at plane is a contracted employee of the airport (no longer a union type). He suggests we communicate our expressions to amer airline directly. We all appreciate the pilots position and thank him for his honesty, as we feel like all other personnel are uninformed. The crowd is now begging he cancel the flight so we can make alt plans and esp bec we don't feel safe. The pilot said he can refuse to fly but cannot cancel flight, its against the rules. Crowd now asks, why didnt they tell us last nite today was going to be cancelled? He said last nite appeared fine now its a diff problem.  Help us, we are still here!
