[Fredslist] Self Defense Prgrams

Hi Gotham - I have a client (mid forties) interested in learning
practical self defense skills to build self confidence. The client,
otherwise physically healthy and fit, has a mild case of degenerative
arthritis (won't be able to do acrobatic kicks) and does not want to get
knocked around in a dojo/karate school environment. Any recommendations
for a supportive program or individual in NYC that could teach these
skills would be greatly appreciated.
