He also runs the Hong Kong Association here in New York.  He will be an asset to those interested in working with Asia as well as the community in New York. More about Michael Nocera:

Michael Nocera is in the business of advising companies seeking to make strategic entries into the emerging markets or the U.S., source capital, or establish joint ventures.  Mr. Nocera currently represents Qingdao “Head” Science & Technology Co., Ltd. dba “EasyBank.”  EasyBank manufactures and leases specialized outdoor ATMs and operates an ATM network in China.  His clients have included Hong Kong-based Inter-Asia Venture Management Ltd., Dagong Global Credit Rating Company, Beijing, China and China Shanghai Seeinglong Bio-Tech Pharmaceuticals, Ltd.

Mr. Nocera also serves as the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Association of New York since November, 2003 where he has introduced new programs on private equity in China and Hong Kong, increased membership significantly and initiated fund-raising techniques including an October, 2005 performance of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center.  Mr. Nocera also serves as an Economic Development Advisor to the Laoshan Hi-Tech Zone, Qingdao, China

Mr. Nocera has been in the financial services industry for over 35 years. His career began at the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission where he was a Branch Chief in the Division of Corporation Finance. Mr. Nocera has held a variety of investment banking positions focusing on direct investments at E.F. Hutton, PaineWebber and New York Life Insurance Company.  Mr. Nocera has testified before the Congress of The United States and has been a guest lecturer in Shanghai and more recently Dalian and Qingdao. Mr. Nocera is a frequent guest commentator for Phoenix TV.

Mr. Nocera graduated from Boston College with B.A. in Economics and The American University where he graduated with an MBA in Finance with honors. Mr. Nocera is a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army.
