Dear Gothamites,

The 37 year old daughter of a longtime friend suffers from bone
crippling and progressively deforming arthritis.  For some reason she is
having difficulty locating a surgeon who specializes in
cranial/facial/arthritis problems with TMJ (that's the jaw joint).  She
says there are no longer any manual appliances that will be of benefit
to her case as the bones are degenerated and there is no cartilage left.
She will need some sort of either bone resurfacing and cartilage
replacement (if that's possible) or total joint replacement.  Need
someone or a team very experienced with procedures.
