There were 2 funeral home people at theLI cocktail party with whom i
discussed the coffin.  Does anyone remember their names?  A man and women.

Those of you who read our beloved listserv regularly know I've been on the
hunt for a period-looking coffin to display at the Merchant's House Museum
for quite some time. Two Gothamites, Kelly Welles and Bambe Levine, were
especially helpful in steering me to the New York Times for help.

The Times has slated a story about the Museum and its quest for an
old-fashioned coffin in this Sunday's paper by Greg Beyer. I'm not certain
which section - - probably Arts & Leisure. Be on the lookout - - I hope
it's helpful.

Meanwhile... the hunt continues...
