[Fredslist] Please advise my mother; Re: Reccurence of Breast Cancer

Summoning the power of Gotham's Magic Wand:

My mother successfully & bravely recovered from breast cancer several years back & until now has been in remission.

Unfortunately, just recently cancer was found in her remaining breast. Thus far, a Pet Scan & MRI have concluded  

that the cancer is local & has not spread. My mom, Marilyn, is under the care of Dr. Beth Siegel a Breast Cancer 

Surgeon whose current address is 55-12 Main Street, Flushing, NY 11355. Dr Siegel was affiliated w/ St. Vincent's 

Hospital, is currently @ Nassau Community Hospital, & will be moving to NYU in May. As a result of Dr. Siegel's move,  

her response time & communication has been less than ideal. If any body has knowledge/ or an opinion of Dr. Beth 

Siegel please let me know ASAP.

Another Breast Surgeon my mother is considering is Dr. Karen Karsiss of NY Hospital of Queens - again, info & 

opinions are greatly appreciated. Marilyn's Oncologist is Dr. Barry Kaplan - 176-60 Union Turnpike, Fresh Meadpws,

NY & Dr. Kaplan is affiliated w/ NY Hospital of Queens.
