Artist Studio/Gallery Asst. & Sales Position (SoHo)

Busy SoHo artist studio & gallery is looking for a part-time sales  
person to work with us on Thursdays (11am-6pm), Saturdays (10am-6pm)  
and Sundays (11am-6pm). You must also be flexible to stay late,  
arrive early, and add extra days for parties and events at our studio.

We are looking for someone with 3+ years experience in art related  
sales and someone who has experience with working with clients (some  
high-end clients) and who will bring fresh ideas on how to generate  
future sales. This position also includes writing emails to clients,  
light cleaning when necessary, making phone calls to the press and  
being highly organized with strict attention to detail.

Candidate must have excellent written and verbal skills, a college  
degree, and extensive knowledge of the arts and art history.  
Preference given to candidates with good working skills in Adobe  
PhotoShop and FileMaker. Please do not apply if you have just  
graduated college. Do not apply if you are not fully proficient with  
a MAC computer.
